Namesake (homonym)

Two different people or companies sharing the same name, a classic source of attribution errors in enrichment.

Namesake risk is central to enrichment: attributing one "Jean Martin"'s email to another "Jean Martin" delivers wrong data that looks correct. It is the most insidious error because it does not show up in coverage rates.

You contain it by requiring several concordant signals before delivering a data point: company, domain, role, photo match. A unique identifier (SIREN for companies) removes the ambiguity when available.
