Role-based email

An address tied to a function rather than a person: contact@, info@, sales@, support@.

Role-based addresses point to no specific individual and are often read by several people or none. They are a poor fit for named prospecting and show low engagement rates.

Most verification tools flag them so you can exclude them from a cold campaign. They remain useful for inbound or support, not for reaching a specific decision-maker.
