Mobile vs landline

The distinction between a mobile number (tied to a person) and a landline (often a shared switchboard).

A mobile number reaches a person directly; a landline often ends at a switchboard or a shared desk. For phone prospecting, mobile is far more valuable because it bypasses gatekeepers and reaches the decision-maker.

In France, the numbering plan deterministically distinguishes a mobile (06/07) from a landline. Quality enrichment does not deliver a switchboard number dressed up as a personal one.
